Who is Dr. Shante Antrom?

 

Shante Antrom is passionate about economic development, educational attainment, and racial equity.  She holds an Ed.D. in Education Leadership from Saint Joseph's University, an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University, and a B.B.A  with a concentration in entrepreneurship from Temple University’s Fox School of Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship is an Accredited Financial Counselor with the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE).  

 

Dr. Antrom has coordinated financial seminars and trained financial professionals to motivate low-to-moderate-income households toward financial stability effectively.  Shante has presented on financial topics and counseling in schools, nonprofit organizations, and military and civilian families within the economic development and organizational work. She has assisted organizations in navigating the strategic planning, development, and change management processes to ensure long-term effectiveness and fiscal stability.

In addition to her financial and organizational work,  Dr. Antrom has facilitated diversity and racial equity workshops through the Community College of Philadelphia's Diversity Certificate Program. The workshops were entitled Race-Talk: Engaging Culturally Sensitive Pedagogues in the 21st Century.  The sessions included Microaggressions and the Workplace: Creating Safe Spaces for Faculty of Color, Black Rage & White Fragility: Creating a Path for Change and Racial Trauma and the Student Experience.

Dr. Antrom combines her passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), strategic planning, and financial education to build Crossway Management Group, LLC., which provides strategic financial counseling, organizational planning, and practical DEI planning and implementation strategies through training and consulting.  The company aims to empower individuals towards financial stability and organizations to enhance inclusive, equitable, and fiscally sustainable practices.
